QWhat is tissue double-sided tape best used for?
Tissue carrier is soft, thin and conformable — ideal for mounting paper, posters, nameplates, splicing, light laminating and any application where you need a low-profile bond that follows surface texture. Acrylic-tissue versions are widely used as a more universal "everyday" double-sided tape.
QIs tissue tape removable?
Standard tissue tape is permanent. We supply a removable / repositionable tissue grade for temporary mounting — let us know the substrate and dwell time so we specify the correct tack level.
QCan tissue tape be hand-torn?
Selected grades are designed to tear cleanly by hand for quick shop-floor application. Most production processes prefer precision slit rolls or die-cut parts, which we can also supply.
QWill tissue tape yellow or curl over time?
With acrylic adhesive and good liner, tissue tape stays flat and clear. Rubber-based or low-grade tissue tape can yellow over years — we use only UV-stable adhesive systems unless the project is explicitly short-term indoor.
QIs tissue tape suitable for high-temperature environments?
Standard tissue is limited to ~80°C continuous. For higher temperatures, choose our high-temperature tissue grade (acrylic, ~120-150°C) or move up to PET carrier.
QCan tissue tape be supplied as die-cut pieces?
Yes — converted rolls, kiss-cut pieces or individual die-cuts, supplied on roll for automated application. Common for nameplate assembly, lens mounting and POS display.
