QIs EVA foam tape removable?
We offer low-tack EVA constructions specifically designed for controlled removal — used in point-of-sale displays, temporary mounting and protective pads. Bond holds during service but lifts cleanly within ~6 months from most substrates. Tell us the substrate and intended dwell time.
QWhat is the temperature limit of EVA foam tape?
EVA softens at ~70°C, so it is suited to indoor, ambient-temperature and short-term outdoor use. For higher temperature or long-term outdoor exposure we usually recommend PE foam or acrylic foam instead.
QIs EVA tape suitable for cushioning and vibration damping?
Yes — that is one of its strongest uses. EVA absorbs impact and dampens vibration in electronics, appliance feet, glass spacer pads and packaging inserts. Pick density (40-100 kg/m³) to the required cushion profile.
QCan EVA foam tape follow curved or textured surfaces?
EVA is softer and more conformable than PE foam, which helps it sit on mild curves and textured surfaces. For very tight radii, we offer thinner EVA grades with high-tack adhesive.
QWill EVA foam yellow or degrade in sunlight?
Standard EVA is not UV-resistant. We supply a UV-stabilised grade (or recommend PE foam / acrylic carrier) for any application with sustained sunlight exposure.
QIs EVA foam tape die-cuttable for gaskets and pads?
Yes — EVA cuts cleanly and is one of our most-used die-cut materials for gaskets, spacers and anti-slip pads.
