QWhat is the temperature range of flame-retardant tape?

Standard grade: -20°C to 120°C continuous, with short-term peaks up to 150°C during battery pack assembly or paint bake. For higher service temperatures we offer a high-temperature flame-retardant grade rated to 150°C continuous.

QWill flame-retardant tape drip when exposed to flame?

No. The construction is formulated to be self-extinguishing and non-dripping — once the flame source is removed the tape stops burning within seconds and does not release flaming drips that could spread fire to adjacent materials.

QCan flame-retardant tape be used in battery packs?

Yes — this is one of its main applications. The tape is used for cell-to-cell bonding, module-to-pack fixing, and busbar insulation in EV battery packs. We supply low-impedance / dielectric versions on request for electrical isolation layers.
