QWhy choose PET film tape over tissue or OPP tape?
PET carrier is dimensionally stable, has higher temperature resistance (up to ~150-200°C depending on grade) and is unusually thin for its tensile strength. That makes it ideal for electronics, membrane switches, graphic overlays and any application where the tape must not stretch during processing.
QWhat is the thinnest PET tape you supply?
From 0.05 mm total thickness upward. Very thin PET tape is widely used in mobile electronics, RFID inlay bonding and FPC grounding — we can also supply 0.025 mm ultra-thin variants on request.
QDoes PET tape offer electrical insulation?
Yes — PET is a good dielectric and our PET double-sided tape is used as an insulation / bonding layer in transformers, batteries and consumer electronics. Dielectric data is available on request.
QCan PET tape survive reflow-solder or wave-solder processes?
Selected grades with high-temperature acrylic adhesive are designed for SMT reflow and selective wave-solder masking. Send us your thermal profile and we will recommend a tested grade rather than asking you to find out in production.
QCan PET tape be laser-cut?
Yes — PET is one of the cleanest laser-cutting carriers. Common for RFID tag production, smartphone gaskets and small die-cut shapes. We can supply laser-cut parts to drawing with tight tolerance.
QIs PET tape die-cuttable for precision parts?
Yes — PET die-cuts extremely cleanly and is the standard choice for precision parts in electronics and medical devices. Standard tooling or digital cutting both supported.
