QIs PVC tape flame-retardant?
Yes — PVC carrier is inherently flame-retardant compared to tissue or PE foam. We supply UL94 V-0 / VTM-0 grades for electronics, signage and public-space applications. Test certificates are available per project.
QCan PVC tape be removed cleanly?
We offer a removable PVC construction for point-of-sale, temporary signage and protective applications. Bond holds in service but lifts cleanly within the intended dwell window — substrate-dependent, so please confirm with us.
QWill PVC tape discolour over time?
Standard white / coloured PVC is light-stable; clear PVC is more prone to slight yellowing under UV. For permanent outdoor exposure we recommend acrylic-foam construction instead.
QIs PVC tape suitable for curved surfaces?
PVC is more conformable than PET and thinner than PE foam, so it handles moderate curves well. For tight radii (e.g. small diameter pipes), ask for our soft-PVC grade.
QDoes PVC tape resist plasticiser migration?
Plasticiser migration can happen with flexible PVC substrates. We use carefully selected adhesives that resist migration; pair with a specific substrate is tested before supply.
QIs PVC tape die-cuttable for gaskets and signage mounts?
Yes — PVC die-cuts cleanly to common tolerances and is widely used as gaskets, spacers and signage mounts. Custom die-cut parts are quoted per drawing.
